HIPAA Complaints 

 

In letters to the Deputy Director, Privacy at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, AHP has asked to understand the extent to which HIPAA Privacy Rule complaints are related to fundraising activities by nonprofit health care providers.

The response: there are practically no examples of violations “in the context of fundraising efforts."
