The Director will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining solicitation and stewardship activities for major donors, while planning and implementing special events for cultivation, solicitation and recognition of donors. This position will develop and maintain donor relationships through recognition programs such as acknowledgement correspondence, recognition and publications.
Responsibilities include interacting with many constituencies including donors, employees, physicians and community members and managing prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, recognition and relationship building leading to major gifts. Once a major gift is made, the director will then be responsible for assuring proper stewardship of the gift and continuing activities to sustain the relationship.
