Smile Train is an entrepreneurial, results-oriented nonprofit dedicated to solving a single problem:  cleft lip and palate. As part of its growth, Smile Train seeks a creative, entrepreneurial business developer or nonprofit development professional to build a program to raise six-figure gifts, supporting the millions of children in developing countries who suffer with unrepaired clefts.

The Director of Major Gifts will:

• Develop relationships with prospective donors and solicit their investment in Smile Train;
• Creatively package philanthropic opportunities, creating a menu of specific giving options;
• Produce events to engage prospects and more deeply connect them to the organization;
• Develop, implement and oversee necessary systems and structures.
