• Proven experience as an effective leader and manager of fundraising teams.
• 5 or more years fundraising or related experience, including experience raising gifts of six- and seven-figures, and complex gifts.
• Experience cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-wealth individuals, foundations, and corporations
• Experience in cultivating and successfully closing on direct appropriations from Congress and appropriate follow up on federal grants and compliance.
• An understanding of prospect research and the application to stratification strategies for major gifting, planned gifting and annual gifting, sophisticated understanding of complex donor data bases, and experience developing and managing departmental budgets.

Providence is calling an established leader in the health care philanthropy community.

We are seeking an Executive Director (ED) for the Providence St. Patrick Hospital Foundation in Missoula, Montana. This person leads the activities of the Advisory and Foundation Boards in our philanthropic and outreach efforts. The Foundation currently has established fund development programs in direct mail, special events, employee giving, corporate giving, government relations and grants, foundation grants, planned giving and major gifts. The ED will have the ability to expand the annual fund and endowments over the next five years to broaden the annual sustainable base funding for Providence St. Patrick Hospital.
