Requirements:

The successful candidate must have a background in raising funds annually from pharmaceutical or other national companies, and will be well-versed in reporting on grant-funded projects, and developing compelling materials for solicitation and stewardship.

Our new Manager will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or institution or equivalent;
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience in foundation and corporate fundraising for a nonprofit organization;
  • Pharmaceutical fundraising experience highly preferred. Experience in competitive grant writing and sponsorships, preferably in a national nonprofit health organization;
  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, spirited funding environment;
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities, with excellent project management skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of constituents, including physicians and non-physician providers;
  • Exceptional presentation skills, results-oriented and strategic;
  • Able to design and implement a comprehensive grant campaign, proficiency in word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Donor and grants management database experience required, Raiser’s Edge experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities:

The Manager, Corporate Fundraising will assume the effective stewardship of existing donors and take the lead in identifying and securing new funding from both foundation and corporate donors. Participates in strategic planning to build and strengthen partnerships with, and funding from corporations (including pharmaceutical companies), corporate foundations, and foundations.

Manager works closely with supervisor in identification, research, solicitation and appropriate stewardship of institutional prospects. Additional responsibilities will include writing highly competitive proposals, tracking and reporting of grants, and identification and ongoing relationship building with institutional contacts.
