The ideal candidate will be a proven results-oriented, business-minded leader capable of navigating change and having the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent (Master Degree/CFRE preferred);
  •  7-10 years experience;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to make a compelling case for support to all audiences;
  • A successful track record in major gifts fundraising; and
  • Experience in all aspects of marketing and public relations activities related to fundraising.   
Responsibilities:
One of the largest health care providers in Kentucky is seeking a President to lead its Foundation staff and volunteers in all areas of fundraising, including strategic planning, special events, direct mail, annual gifts, donor relations, prospect identification and cultivation, major gifts planning, planned giving, and face-to-face solicitations.   Reporting directly to the CEO of the hospital and the Foundation Board, the President will help to advance the mission of providing the highest quality health care through philanthropy.
