The President and CDO will have overall responsibility for establishing a comprehensive coordinated program of gift acquisition to support and to advance Mercy’s mission in clinical practice, community service, disease prevention, health education, and research. The President and CDO will also be required to build and enhance collaboration in the Metro division to ensure that the facilities are properly positioned relative to their fund-raising capabilities.
This opportunity, the President and Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a newly created position for Mercy and will be responsible for the foundation of the four Metro Hospitals. The Metro Hospitals include Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Mercy St. Ann’s Hospital and Mercy Children’s Hospital. This role will report directly to Kevin Cook, President of the Metro Division of Mercy as well as the newly formed Foundation Board for the new foundation.
