2008 Trustee Leadership and Philanthropy Forum
January 20-22, 2008 • The Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel • Dana Point, California

Your Special Invitation

The association for healthcare Philanthropy invites you to the AHP 2008 trustee leadership & Philanthropy Forum — designed to meet the needs of today’s Foundation board members, CEOs, and senior-level development professionals. This learning experience is designed to encourage attendees to create an understanding of leadership and philanthropy within their organizations.

The primary goal of this forum is to deliver a high caliber program that creates a better understanding of the critical leadership roles trustees and CEOs play in health care fundraising. You will explore strategies that will strengthen your relationship and in turn enhance your board’s performance.

We have tailored this program to integrate the three key roles in resource development — the role of the foundation board member, CEO, and the senior development professional. By having representation from these three key areas, you can create a new level of under-standing, support, and synergy toward leadership in the development process and toward fulfilling your institutional mission.

During this program you, your board member(s), and CEO will...

  • Realize a shared understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the foundation board, senior development professional, and CEO
  • Collaborate on strategies for success
  • Discover how to grow as a leader and focus on leadership excellence with your organization and philanthropy program

This event is by invitation only to foundation trustees, chief executive officers, and senior development executives.

Our Leadership Agenda

Give your institution the competitive advantage by implementing techniques you unfold at this Forum. The Forum will be limited in number for more intimate discussions.

This rare opportunity to step away from your day-to-day routine will offer fresh ideas and strategies to enhance your philanthropic leadership team. You will connect with colleagues as you engage in team discussions regarding leadership and philanthropy.
