Requirements:
  Capacity to embrace City of Hope’s mission; highest integrity and ethics, 7+ years major gift fundraising experience (ideally in a health care or educational setting); engaging personal style; excellent communication skills; ability to work successfully both independently and as a team member; and the ability to translate research, education, and clinical programs compellingly for external constituencies.
     
Responsibilities:
 

This is a new development position at City of Hope.  The Senior Advisor will build and implement a strategic principal gifts program, defined as gifts of $2.5 million and above.  S/he will manage and expand the portfolio of principal gift prospects and develop individualized plans for their cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.  S/he will build partnerships with institutional leaders, colleagues and volunteers to maximize principal gift fundraising within a major campaign environment.  This position is located in downtown Los Angeles.
