Event Terms and Conditions

Full Conference Registration

For in-person conferences, full registration includes all activities beginning with the opening reception through the final education program. Add-on workshops require a separate fee and are not included in the full conference rate.

Single-Day Registration

For in-person conferences, single-day registration includes all sessions and meals scheduled for the day you are registered. You may only register for one single day.

Payment

Registration forms will not be processed without payment. All fees are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Attendees may register with a credit card or check. Credit card payments will be processed in U.S. funds. Checks issued from outside the United States must be bank-issued in U.S. funds (not handwritten).

For your convenience, you may pay for conference registration and exhibitor and sponsor fees by mail, phone, fax, or through AHP's website. AHP will not be responsible for any damages or loss incurred by you if you choose to send payment information (including, without limitation, credit card information) to AHP by mail or email. You therefore accept sole responsibility for any damage or loss resulting from your use of such communication methods. Please review our Privacy Policy for a summary of our practices related to the collection and use of personal information.

Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to meetings@ahp.org. If we receive your cancellation request at least four weeks before the first day of the conference (the cancellations deadline), we will issue you a full refund minus a $125 administrative fee. No refunds will be made after the cancellation deadline.

If you provide payment and require a charge to be reversed to use another form of payment, you will be charged a $125 administrative fee.

Conferences Fees for Non-Exhibiting Consultants

All affiliate and prospective affiliate members (i.e., vendors and consultants) must register as an exhibitor or non-exhibiting consultant. Please note that non-exhibiting consultants may not display marketing materials or job postings at any conference. If you prefer these benefits, exhibiting is the best registration option. Please email meetings@ahp.org for exhibit hall registration information.

Money-Back Guarantee

Our goal is to provide truly exceptional service and offerings. If any programs, products, or services of AHP do not fulfill our promise, we will make the situation right for you.

Hospital CEO/Board Member Special Rate

Institutional representatives who are attending the AHP conference with an AHP member may attend at the member rate. You must be a hospital CEO, president, executive director, administrator, trustee, or volunteer. This offer is not available for foundation CEOs, presidents, or executive directors. Please note the name of the member with whom you are attending on your registration form to receive the discount.

Consent to Share

Registration and attendance at or participation in an AHP event constitutes an agreement by the attendee to allow AHP to use and distribute the registrant or attendee's image or voice in video or photographs. Additionally, attendees’ names, organizations, titles, and accommodation information may be shared with onsite vendors and sponsors to allow us to better serve them while they are with us.

Confirmation

After you register you will receive an electronic confirmation with pertinent information about the event within 10 business days. AHP will communicate important information leading up to the conference by email, including handouts and travel information.

Membership Discounts

You must be a member of AHP at the time you register until the conclusion of the conference in order to receive discounted registration.

Membership Terms and Conditions

Membership Downgrade

Member may elect to downgrade its membership from AHPrime to an Institutional Membership upon the termination or expiration of this Agreement by providing written notice of such election to AHP prior to such termination or expiration. Following AHP’s receipt and confirmation of such notice, Member’s membership shall be governed by the terms applicable to AHP Institutional Membership. For one (1) year following the effective date of said termination and downgrade of Member’s membership to Institutional Membership, Member does not qualify for the flat rate Institutional Membership fee structure, and shall instead pay membership fees at AHP’s then-current per-person rate for the Institutional Membership roster ($550 per person as of the date of this agreement).

AHP will also comply with all court orders or subpoenas involving requests for such information. In addition to the foregoing, AHP reserves the right to, at any time and without notice, modify, suspend, terminate, or interrupt operation or access to the Site, or any portion of the Site to protect the Site or AHP.
  11. MISCELLANEOUS.  Failure to insist on strict performance of any of the terms and conditions of this EULA will not operate as a waiver of that or any subsequent default or failure of performance.  AHP reserves the right to change the Site and the terms of this EULA at its discretion. Your continued use of the Site following such change constitutes your acceptance. AHP therefore encourages you to review this EULA on a periodic basis. In the event this EULA is terminated, the Proprietary Rights, Disclaimer, and Limitation of Liability Sections shall survive.
