Reception and Dinner at Heinz Hall (additional fees apply)

Join us for a reception and dinner in The Mozart Room at Heinz Hall, home of The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Heinz Hall is a five minute walk from the Omni William Penn Hotel, giving conference participants the opportunity to stroll through Pittsburgh’s cultural district. It will be a wonderful time to network with colleagues starting with a reception at 6:00 pm. Please feel free to include family and friends in this lovely evening when registering for the conference. The cost for dinner is $50 per person. A cash bar will be available. The reservation deadline for this event is May 23, 2008. This event is nonrefundable.

Heinz Hall evolved from its origin in 1927 as the Loew’s Penn Theater to its renovation and dedication as Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts in 1971 and was named with a gift to the Pittsburgh Symphony Society from the Howard Heinz Endowment. Its architectural splendor will help make this a memorable evening.

AHP Mid-Atlantic Region Award of Excellence

The conference committee is pleased to announce the creation of an annual award of excellence that will make its debut in Pittsburgh. This award has been established to recognize exemplary service and extraordinary leadership in the field of health care philanthropic development. It will be presented to an individual member of the Mid-Atlantic region of AHP who exemplifies vision, dedication, and hard work, and who has demonstrated both success and impact in the health care development field.
