Hotel Reservations:
The Omni William Penn is offering AHP conference attendees a special rate of $179.00 single/double occupancy, plus tax. To make reservations, call the hotel at (800) 843-6664 and identify yourself as an Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) conference attendee.
Please be advised: The AHP room block special room rates apply to the nights of May 31–June 3, 2008. AHP has reserved a limited number of rooms at the special rate. Please make your room reservations as soon as possible. The hotel deadline for the special hotel rate is May 8, 2008. If all hotel rooms reserved at the special rate are sold prior to this date, AHP can not guarantee availability of additional special rated rooms. Please contact the hotel directly for rates and information.
Registration Policy:
To qualify for the early bird rate, your registration and payment must be postmarked no later than May 2, 2008. Registration forms will not be processed without payment. Confirmations will be mailed within 10 business days of receipt of form and payment. Online registration is available at www.ahp.org.
Registration Includes:
Full conference registration starts with the opening reception on Sunday, June 1 and includes: education sessions, the continental breakfast and lunch on Monday, June 2; and continental breakfast and lunch on Tuesday, June 3. The single day registration includes the education sessions for the selected day of registration and the meal(s) that are scheduled for that day only. Tickets for meals on other days may be purchased.
The optional reception and dinner at Heinz Hall on Monday, June 2, 2008 is $50 per person (guests welcome). There are a limited number of tickets available for this event and they are on a first paid, first reserved basis. Tickets for this event are nonrefundable.
Guest Tickets:
If you would like to bring a guest to the opening reception, breakfasts, or lunches, you may purchase additional meal tickets. Meal ticket order forms will be included in your registration confirmation packet. Tickets can be purchased before the conference or on-site.

It is AHP policy that all AHP affiliate and prospective affiliate members (i.e. vendors, consultants, etc.) must register as an exhibitor or a non-exhibiting consultant. Conference Dress:
The conference dress is business casual. Consider bringing a jacket or sweater, as meeting room temperatures can fluctuate.
Weather:
The average daytime temperature in June is 80 degrees and in the evenings 56 degrees. Remember to bring a light sweater or jacket for the air-conditioned meeting rooms.
Transportation:
The Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is the closest airport to the Omni William Penn. The Port Authority’s 28x Airport Flyer is an inexpensive and efficient way to reach downtown Pittsburgh. The bus departs every 20 minutes from numerous downtown locations and carries over 40,000 riders every week. Visit www.portauthority.org/PAAC/tabid/241/default.aspx for more information. Rental car facilities and taxi service are also available. Taxi service to and from the airport is approximately $40; shuttle service is approximately $19 per person and $34 per person round trip; and private car service is approximately $45 one way plus gratuity.
Driving Directions:
From Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT): Follow signs to Pittsburgh to I-279 North (Fort/Pitt Bridge and Tunnel); Go through the tunnel. Take the Liberty Avenue exit (straight off bridge). Proceed approximately 3 blocks and turn right on Sixth Avenue. At third intersection turn right onto William Penn Place. The hotel is located on the left.
