AHP Pacific Regional Conference Welcome to Portland and the great energy that we in the Pacific Northwest derive from our beautiful and varied environment! Whether you prefer strolling on the beach, trekking through alpine meadows or ambling somewhere in between, there are plenty of opportunities for you to be inspired, transformed and re-energized. Our conference committee has been very thoughtful in planning educational sessions and social activities that ensure the 2008 AHP Pacific Regional Conference is just as varied and inspirational as the natural wonders that surround us. For those of you who are brand new to AHP—welcome! You will be learning from and networking with some of the most innovative fundraising professionals in the country. You are bound to be inspired by their insights and knowledge. For those who haven’t attended a regional conference in some time—welcome back! This will be a great opportunity to renew acquaintances and find out what’s new in health care philanthropy. You’ll learn how our profession continues to transform itself to better serve donors and ultimately, the patients and families cared for by our organizations. For those of you who are regular conference attendees—thank you for coming again this year! We value and appreciate your expertise and your willingness to share it with others. You’re sure to be re-energized by meeting those new to the profession and by reconnecting with long-time friends and colleagues.
