AHP Southeast Region Golf Tournament

Sunday, June 29, 10:30 am - 3:00 pm

Arrive early for the conference and “swing” into action at the fabulous Deerwood Country Club. Deerwood is touted as Jacksonville’s premiere private golf venue and is an easy 15 minute drive from the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa. Come out for a day of genteel competition and friendly networking with your colleagues.

Tournament format will be best ball four person scramble. All skill levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced. Trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams and prizes will be given to the longest drive and closest to the pin holes for men and women. In addition, a $10,000 super prize will awarded for a hole in one on a designated hole. The winner could be you!

Tournament cost is $85 per player and includes cart and practice balls. A cash charge food and beverage cart will be available on the golf course. Please make your check payable to AHP. All players must be registered for the tournament by June 20, 2008. No exceptions. Tee times will begin at 10:30 am and run through 11:30 am. No refunds can be given after June 20th. Please indicate your golf handicap when you register.

Newcomers' Reception

Sunday, June 29, 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Bring the newcomers to AHP armed with shovel and pail to learn how to build foundations that succeed and not fail. This is where education tracks can surely provide for a sandcastle foundation not moved by the tide. Networking is key to relation-shipbuilding sail into the newcomers reception and partying. Nothing to bring at 5:30 but yourself unless maybe questions and ways we can help. Make it a priority and don’t miss out on so much fun you’ll just want to shout.

Opening Reception

Sunday, June 29, 6:30 pm

With a backdrop of palm trees and moss draped oaks, the opening reception on the pool deck should not be missed. The reception will deliver the perfect blend of beach music, enticing food, and networking with old and new friends. So, put on your resort casual, and we will see you there!

Tennis Tournament

Monday, June 30, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for a tennis tournament at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa. This tournament will be held on clay courts at the ATP Center a few minutes away from the Marriott. It will be a round-robin format that lets everyone have a great time regardless of their level of play. Your entry fee of $40 per person includes everything except your racket. This tennis tournament is open to conference attendees and/or their spouses, children and friends.

No-Host Dinner

If you are looking for an excellent dinner in the Ponte Vedra area, the hospitality committee will have a selection of local restaurants with varying prices and delicacies for you to choose. You can sign up at the conference’s hospitality table once you arrive. So, come join a relaxing dinner with old and new friends.

Resort Activities

Tuesday, July 1, 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Following the luncheon plenary session, come outside, bring your children and have fun participating in resort activities including putters challenge, ping-pong, and much more.

Closing Reception & Dinner - The 19th Hole

Tuesday, July 1, 6:30 pm

You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy the 19th Hole celebration at the closing reception and party. Come in your resort casual or favorite golfing attire, and enjoy a first rate evening. We will swing into the evening with sounds that will take you late into the night. The last evening of the conference will sure to be a hole-in-one!
