About the Spa
When purchasing any 50-minute treatment at $95, the Spa is yours for the day! Doors are open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm for your convenience, while treatments can be scheduled from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Marriott Kid’s Program
The Grasshopper Gang is a supervised activities camp that is offered daily and run by our professional Recreation Staff. It’s a fun way for our pint-sized guests to enjoy a day experiencing all of the resort activity areas: bicycle riding, a putting challenge at our Putters Course, and a game of ping-pong. Activities can also include such favorites as arts and crafts, a quick trip to the Cabana Club (our private beach club) and turtle feedings. Outdoor activities are weather permitting. 24-hour advanced registration and cancellation is required due to limited spaces. The Grasshopper Gang runs from 9:00 am–1:00 pm daily. The cost is $55.00 per child and includes lunch. There is a 10% discount for each additional child (immediate family members only).

Hotel Reservations
The Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa is offering AHP conference attendees a special rate of $159 single/double occupancy, plus tax. To make reservations, call the hotel at (904) 285-7777 and identify yourself as an Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) conference attendee.

Please be advised: The AHP room block special room rates apply to the nights of June 28–July 1, 2008. AHP has reserved a limited number of rooms at the special rate. Please make your room reservations as soon as possible. The hotel deadline for the special hotel rate is May 29, 2008. If all hotel rooms reserved at the special rate are sold prior to this date, AHP can not guarantee availability of additional special rated rooms. Please contact the hotel directly for rates and information.

Registration Policy
To qualify for the early bird rate, your registration and payment must be postmarked no later than May 30, 2008. Registration forms will not be processed without payment. Confirmations will be mailed within 10 business days of receipt of form and payment. Online registration is available.

Registration Includes
Full conference registration starts with the opening dinner on Sunday, June 29, 2008, and includes: education sessions, the continental breakfast and lunch on Monday, June 30th; and education sessions and lunch on Tuesday, July 1st. The single day registration includes the education sessions for the selected day of registration and the meal(s) that are scheduled for that day only. Tickets for meals on other days may be purchased.

Guest Tickets
If you would like to bring a guest to the opening reception, breakfasts, or lunches, you may purchase additional meal tickets. Meal ticket order forms will be included in your registration confirmation packet. Tickets can be purchased before the conference or on-site.

It is AHP policy that all AHP affiliate and prospective affiliate members (i.e. vendors, consultants, etc.) must register as an exhibitor or a non-exhibiting consultant. Conference Dress
The conference dress is business casual. Consider bringing a jacket or sweater, as meeting room temperatures can fluctuate.

Weather
The average daytime temperature in late June is 91 degrees and in the evenings 71 degrees. Remember to bring a light sweater or jacket for the air-conditioned meeting rooms.

Transportation
The Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the closest airport to the Marriott Sawgrass Golf Resort & Spa. It is located approximately 37 miles from the hotel. Rental car facilities and taxi service are available. Taxi fare from JAX to the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa is approximately $75.00.

If you plan to tour the Ponte Vedra area, a rental car will be the most affordable and convenient way to travel. The resort has a complimentary shuttle on call that will take you around the resort complex and the immediate area (including the Cabana Club Beach front.) The Cabana Club Beach is an estimated 10–12 minute shuttle ride from the hotel.

Carey Transportation of Jacksonville provides one way non-private airport transfers to/from the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa. The rates are $68.50 (for one passenger) and $54.80 (for two or more passengers). All rated include 20% gratuity. These rates do not include airport fees of $10.00 per van/sedan on pickups from airport only and a $7.00 fuel fee per van/sedan. Driving Directions
From Jacksonville International Airport, take I-95 South to Exit 362A (Sign for 9A & Blount Island.) Follow 9A to Butler Boulevard, SR 202 heading west (the east bound exit is closed for construction.) Go west to first U Turn opportunity and head on Butler Boulevard East until it ends at A1A (South) and follow 3.5 miles to the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa. Turn right on PGA Tour Boulevard. The hotel is on the left. Driving distance is 27 miles.
