About the Course


This fast-paced, on-demand fundamentals course focuses on the basic elements of healthcare philanthropy and the role of development in a healthcare organization. It covers all the major areas of healthcare development, including major, planned, and annual giving; capital campaigns; policies; finance; marketing; and many other topics.

The course is highly recommended for professionals with less than five years experience in healthcare philanthropy, and for support staff and board members who need to understand the elements of healthcare development. 

You’ll earn up to 7.0 CFRE continuing education points for completing the Development Primer.
