AHP Advanced Course in Healthcare Fundraising
The AHP Advanced Course is a one-day, intensive program that provides a quick and comprehensive overview of fundraising principles for healthcare development professionals who have five or more years of experience in the field. The course content is organized around the CFRE exam and can assist development professionals in preparing for the CFRE examination. Participants review the core competencies outlined in the CFRE knowledge areas. The course fee includes the workshop, workbook, and a continental breakfast and lunch. This fast-paced, one-day, fundamental workshop focuses on the basic elements of healthcare philanthropy and the role of development in a healthcare organization. This workshop reviews major areas of health care development, including: major, planned, and annual giving; capital campaigns; policies; finance; marketing; and many other topics. The workshop is highly recommended for those new to healthcare development (with less than three years experience) and for support staff and board members who need to understand the elements of health care development.
