Alice Ayres is the President and CEO of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), the only membership organization serving only those who transform health care through philanthropy. Alice brings deep health care industry knowledge and broad experience across all aspects of the Association’s offerings to the role of CEO, which she employs as AHP develops new and better ways to support the important work of health care development professionals. Serving as the top leader of AHP since 2018, Alice has dedicated herself to elevating the strategic understanding of fundraising throughout healthcare and was recognized as one of the Non-Profit Times Power and Influence Top 50 in 2024.
Alice has devoted the last 20+ years of her career to supporting the health care industry. In addition to roles in events and education, Alice served as an executive director with The Advisory Board Company, a global research, technology, and consulting membership organization that partners with 4,500 organizations and more than 200,000 leaders across health care. Prior to joining The Advisory Board Company, Alice held marketing leadership roles at consumer-driven marketing companies including Kraft Foods and led sponsorship for The Atlantic’s AtlanticLive division.
Alice has served on several boards including The Madeira School and Princeton’s Campus Club. She received her MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management and her bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. She lives in Bethesda, MD with her husband and her four children.
