One of the most powerful tools in marketing continues to be word of mouth. Social media is the place where many of our ideal donors and consumers turn for recommendations and information. Through exploring our Social Media Ambassador Program, we will share how we've harnessed the power of our social supporters, built a sense of community and provided engaging content for our networks to share.
While the program is available to anyone, our ideal ambassador is someone who has social influence with our target demographic and has a passion for our cause. By joining the program and becoming a #handraiser, volunteers use their social media channels to help amplify the stories of our patients and families. Through an interactive dashboard, #handraisers have access to our latest videos and updates, notifications on discoveries and breakthroughs and invites to exclusive event and volunteer opportunities. The dashboard gives influencers and social media enthusiasts the ability to easily click and share content that directly benefits our patients and families. Engagement is rewarded through various levels of Lurie Children's "swag."
In addition to our Social Media Ambassador Program, we've developed an influencer marketing strategy that focuses on a mix of organic and paid efforts to ensure that our content is seen by the right audiences. Our influencers create unique content across platforms with clear CTAs that convert to referral traffic.
