Michelle Campbell, BA, MPNL, FAHP, ICD.D, MFA-P  

President & Chief Executive Officer | St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation 

Michelle has dedicated her life to the profession of philanthropy. As President & CEO for St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation in London, Ontario, she is a recognized leader in Canadian healthcare philanthropy for her deep expertise in board governance, foundation management, strategic planning and transformational donor work. Michelle has served AHP as a member of the International Board of Certification, on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association for Healthcare Philanthropy and as Chair of the Regional Roundtable.  In 2025, she joined the Madison Institute faculty. 

In addition to her executive leadership, Michelle has focused on improving the profession through education. She designed and delivered fundraising and nonprofit leadership programs at Western University, Fanshawe and Brescia Colleges, in addition to frequently presenting at regional and international conferences, and as an international faculty member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA) “Madison Down Under” program. For her work in Australia, she was recognized as an Honourary Life Member of FIA (HMFIA).  In Canada, she serves on the Imagine Canada Standards Council which sets the professional standards for formal accreditation of Canadian charities.

John P. Drake, MLA, FAHP, CFRE 

President | Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation 

John’s letters of recommendation raved about his innovation, energy, and personal integrity, qualities displayed during his leadership of the Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation (BSWIF). John has led his team of two other officers in raising $61 million in gifts since 2001, personally soliciting more than $47 million of that total. John earned his CFRE credential in 2005 and his FAHP designation in 2019. 

John has also volunteered on a near-constant basis with AHP over his 30 years of membership. He twice served as AHP’s Vice President of Membership and Communications and as Regional Director for the Rockies & Southwest Region. He served on the faculty of AHP Madison Institute from 2012 to 2023, leading it as chair in his final year. In 2022, he completed three years of service on the FAHP Accreditation Committee. Today, John serves as a Trustee of the AHP Foundation.

Birgit Stumpf 

Leader – Healthcare Section | German Fundraising Association 

Birgit is a life force, catalyst and evangelist for healthcare philanthropy in Germany. She created the healthcare section of the German Fundraising Association in 2010 and grew it to a membership of more than 600, organized a yearly conference on healthcare fundraising in Frankfurt, and published the first studies about hospital fundraising in Germany. She is also an accomplished fundraiser and healthcare executive, serving as managing director of the German Foundation for Women’s Health. 

Birgit has been an advocate for AHP throughout, introducing AHP’s benefits and educational opportunities to a multitude of fundraising professionals. She led the development of a cooperation agreement between AHP and the German Fundraising Association in 2013. Birgit has translated AHP webinars for the German audience and has established an exchange program with AHP for European fundraisers to participate in AHP's annual conference and learn from its members.
