CCS Fundraising

Elizabeth has led planning and management efforts for campaigns and philanthropic growth plans with goals surpassing one billion dollars, delivering customized strategies that maximize donor engagement and impact.

She was instrumental in designing and implementing the collaborative fundraising model for the new $5 billion pediatric campus shared by Children’s Health and UT Southwestern Medical Center, one of the largest healthcare capital projects in the United States. Elizabeth led the development of a custom predictive model for an academic medical center to identify annual giving prospects and design data-driven solicitation strategies, improving donor targeting and campaign performance.

She led the planning and development of a targeted fundraising growth initiative around an academic medical center's cardiovascular institute – which resulted in a $45 million investment and has since served as a template for how to leverage philanthropy in support of clinical integration and growth across a system.

I joined CCS Fundraising after spending a decade supporting nonprofit organizations in New York City. One of my early CCS client engagements was with a top-ranked academic medical center, and it was through this experience that I discovered a passion for the healthcare sector and its potential to transform lives through philanthropy. I have been fortunate to work across the full continuum of healthcare delivery since.

I was drawn to healthcare philanthropy because of its extraordinary ability to directly impact people’s lives. The mission-driven nature combined with the complexities of healthcare institutions presents countless opportunities to innovate, design, and implement truly custom philanthropic solutions.

A defining moment was leading the design, build, and implementation of a collaborative fundraising model between Children’s Health and UT Southwestern Medical Center in support of their historic $5 billion new Dallas pediatric campus. Activating this first-of-its-kind model was an experience that continues to inform my work across healthcare today.

I am passionate about guiding my client partners toward exponential and sustainable growth in the most efficient and effective way. Whether I am advising on transformational gift strategy, designing collaborative models, or mentoring early-career professionals, I am driven by the opportunity to strengthen the capacity of people and institutions to advance their mission.

Stay curious! I would encourage anyone new to healthcare philanthropy to approach this work with a curiosity and commitment to continuous learning. No two healthcare institutions are alike. The most effective leaders are those who take time to deeply understand their organization, ask questions, and seek out diverse perspectives. Most importantly, stay grounded in the impact of your work — it is an awesome privilege to be able to contribute to better outcomes for patients, families, and communities.
