Jordan successfully guided his team through a reorganization while achieving a Gallup Employee Engagement Survey mean score of 4.6 out of 5 and ranking in the 87th percentile nationally for engagement.

I began my career at an early stage start up, before moving into higher education. These stops, and experiences, allowed me to form some incredible mentors and advocates along the way. These individuals - and their guidance - were instrumental in my decision to make the jump into healthcare philanthropy.

Many are driven by a personal connection to healthcare, either through their own experiences or through the lens of others. This firsthand understanding, coupled with the incredible work taking place in, and around Indianapolis, fuels my desire to improve the health and well-being of Hoosiers alike.

Making the move to IU Health was my pivot point. Philanthropy has always been a natural fit for me, professionally. But moving from the world of higher education, to the complexities of a major matrixed healthcare organization, was a major shift. Again, though, continuing to ground myself in my own values and beliefs, all the while conferring with several mentors, helped me navigate this crucial point with confidence and ease.

Aside from my faith, and family, my greatest passion continues to be connecting people to places and purposes greater than themselves. Connecting resources

Be present and slow down.

In healthcare, it can be easy to run full speed everyday in a number of competing directions. We too, with relative ease, often find ourselves handcuffed to our desks and offices, forgoing the importance of building that human friction with donors, patients, and community members alike. It is hard to slow down and to be present at all times. That’s why it is important to remember to take conscious steps to do so. To slow down, to remember the mission at hand, and the impact being made.

Fun Fact

I love to spend time outdoors with my family exercising, hiking, hunting, fishing, and enjoying all the beauty the Midwest has to offer!
