She actively volunteers in her children’s school activities and clubs, supporting their education and extracurricular programs.

In my 14 years of fundraising, I have always sought out organizations where I can directly see the impact of philanthropy. For me, that was Jupiter Medical Center Foundation. I enjoy the opportunity to interact with patients, donors, and community members. Working at a rapidly growing community hospital provides a unique chance to demonstrate to both patients and donors, in real time, how their contributions benefit our programs.

A pivotal moment in my career journey occurred last year when I had the opportunity to lead our team of four philanthropy professionals. I am grateful for this chance, and over the past year, it has been exciting to strategize with them on major gift requests and to learn together. This experience has provided me with a year of reflection and growth, both in my development as a leader and in the valuable insights that our team has shared with me.

My greatest passion is my family and children because they bring laughter, love and meaning to my life. They give me purpose and motivate me to be the best version of myself every day.

Build genuine relationships with donors. Healthcare philanthropy is all about personal connections. Many donors make a gift because of their own healthcare journeys or those of their loved ones. Take the time to connect with them on a personal level, really hear their stories, and understand what drives their support.

Fun Fact

I am a triplet: one brother and one sister. We were born only a few minutes apart and featured on the front page of the local newspaper, due to how rare it was at the time to have triplets.
