Remembering Jerold Panas
Jerold (Jerry) Panas was the founding partner of Jerold Panas, Linzy & Partners, a highly regarded firm in the field of campaign services and financial resource development. Jerry was professionally involved in health care fundraising for more than 40 years.
His bestselling books on fundraising are considered among the most significant in the field. In fact, “ASKING” — which details the journey to securing the largest gift possible — is the largest selling book in the history of fundraising.
Jerry received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to philanthropy and fundraising in 2013 and the Chairman’s Award at AFP’s 2014 International Conference for his contribution to the nonprofit sector.
Jerry was a friendly face at AHP conferences and wrote many articles for the AHP Journal, Healthcare Philanthropy.
